Sample Characters

Is there a repository of Sample Characters anywhere? I need 5 starting characters that I can pull up, make some minor tweaks, and get ready to use for tonite.

Other than the ones for contacts, or the sample player characters from the core book, not yet. I'm working on it, but I'm afraid that it won't be ready for a couple of weeks. With ACTA in place now, there are some extra hoops to jump through to make sure nobody gets in trouble with copy right stuff.

There were sample portfolios that came with the original Shadowrun module for Hero Lab.

Some of them no longer work, like the Drone Rigger. It would be nice if they released them again to function with the new updates....

The Drone Rigger works fine for me - it takes a while to load, but that's because it's loading the Rigger, plus 8 different vehicles. What problems are you running into with it?

I think that is the idea.... If you have an old template portfolio that no longer works, then yeah, you might be interested in such a thing.

Also, it would be interesting to see what kinds of basic starting character templates other people come up with. For instance, I tweaked a few of the templates (such as Bounty Hunter) so that they suck much, much less and are useful for giving to people for demo games of SR and such.
