Show calculations?!

Forgive me, if it is too obvious, but I can't find it.

Is there anyway to show the way a given value (Skill, Ability, Attack & Dmg rolls) has become what it is?!

Sometimes I want to know how the number of Skill Points added up, not only the final result, etc.

I have to admit, it would be nice to see a breakdown something like the one you can get when you mouseover the AC field (I think on the Abilities tab). Even if it just showed you (Abil Mod + Ranks + Misc), it would be helpful.

I haven't been using any coding in my data sets that specify whether a bonus is Racial, Trait, Competence, Enhancement, Morale, or any other variety, because the #skillbonus[pick] macro doesn't allow for that. Are there macros like the #enhancementbonus[pick, value] that do that (i.e., is there a #racialbonus[pick, value])?

Paris - while you're in the editor, select the help menu, then choose "Help On Using the Editor".

Follow the "Reference Information" link - early on in that page, you'll find the sections on "Useful Macros" (what you want is #applybonus[]), and "General Modifiers" (which is the things to use in #applybonus[]).

Thanks, Mathias. I think I knew that, but I conveniently "forget" it because that #skillbonus one is just so darned easy to use. ;)

+1 +1 +1(can't just plus one as the forum doesn't like that)

Not first time this has shown up. See an answer I did in THIS thread awhile back. Will get you to the numbers that make up the totals. It won't show you exactly which feat or ability provided that bonus.

After seeing HL calculates monsters and stats more accurately then Paizo I really don't spend time checking HL totals anymore. Also as all my players now use HL if something is off its off for everyone the same way. :)

I'm imagining myself clicking the "Like" button on both this post and the one linked in this one.
