Ok so CapedCrusader made some cool Hellfrost data files for Savage Worlds...How can I get these into my HL Savage folder so I can use them?

I am running Win 7 64bit Pro....

Sorry if this should go somewhere else I could not find anything that was close to what I was trying to do.

Please help....

Copy and paste them to C:\ProgramData\Hero Lab\data\savage

The above location is hidden by default. You may have to change your folder options to locate C:\ProgramData using Windows Explorer.

Adam thanks for the quick response...sorry to say no file structure that says ProgramData\Hero Lab\data?

I have C:\Program Files (x86)\Hero Lab...

bo data file or savage? I have the red beaker icon but that is not a subfolder that launches HL into Savage worlds?

I am fully updated to 3.7 HL and Win 7 is also up to date....any advice? I have had HL since it first came out years ago...

Did you try pasting C:\ProgramData directly into Windows Explorer's address bar?

You also can determine where data is stored by using "Tools->Explore Folders" from within Hero Lab.

ok so next question...how do I use them? I have them in a folder call Hellfrost in the right directory? but when I try to import data files nothing shows when I go into that folder???

Hero Lab won't look into sub-folders of the folder where it expects to find .user files. Try moving them out of that sub-folder and into the main folder.
