Pathfinder Bug Reports - collection 3

Is this what's happening:

Buy an alchemist's lab - the total is ~-350 gp
Buy a mug of ale (2sp) - the total is reported as ~-350 gp, and if you mouse over it, it tells you you have -350 gp, -2 sp.
Add 500gp on the journal - the total is ~150, but it's reported in red, because if you mouse over it, it tells you that you have 150 gp, -2 sp

The progam only makes change during the purchase process, not while adding more money, so you can fix it by making another purchase that you can afford.

We've decided that allowing you to spend more money than you have is not how we want to handle it, anyway, so this problem will go away then.

I haven't seen this posted yet but if I missed it, sorry in advance. I created a NE Tiefling Cleric but he's shown as channeling positive energy instead of negative energy. I didn't notice this until I tried to choose the Command Undead feat and received the error that you have to be able to channel negative energy.

BTW - I love Herolab (I have 3.5, Cortex, M&M and Pathfinder datasets) and want to thank you guys for all the work you do and the quick responses.

On the cleric tab, on the top left, is where you select the type of channeling (it looks like the text still reflects turn/rebuke from the SRD - I'll fix that). But there's not supposed to be an automatic selection of the type of channeling, and the default selection is positive energy.

Sorry if this has been reported before..

I'm going over one of my players sheets. She is wearing +2 Full Plate, and is a 10th level fighter.

The Armor Check Penalty of Full Plate is (-6). At 10th level she has Armor Training 2, which reduces that by (2) points.. which should be an adjusted ACP of (-4)..

And a max Dex bonus of 3.. (which is incidental).

I'm looking her file over and it looks like Hero Labs is only applying a (-3) ACP.

I'm guessing it's because of the reduction of ACP from being masterwork. I think I reported it earlier for not being calculated.

Such a well-made item functions like the normal version, except that its armor check penalty is lessened by 1.

Building a Fighter with Two Weapon Fighting and Exotic Weapon Proficiency for Sawtooth Sabre. Hero Lab does not appear to be changing the Sabre from 1 Handed to Light per the text on the Sabre.

Would you please elaborate on what's not working? I went through the following steps on a new character: add a level of fighter, change DEX to 15, add Two-Weapon Fighting as a fighter bonus feat, add exotic weapon proficiency: sawtooth sabre as a regular feat, purchase two sawtooth sabres, and equip one in the main hand. The attack penalty for both weapons drops by 2 when I equip the off-hand sawtooth sabre, which is correct for two-weapon fighting and off-hand weapon is light. Also, the information mouseover (the ? in a circle), reports that the weapon class is light once the exotic weapon proficiency is added.

I figured out the difference. When I add the Sawtooth Sabre as a custom weapon (i.e. Magical or Masterwork) it is not updated from 1-handed to light. If I add a regular Sawtooth Sabre, it IS updated correctly. Hope this helps :).

Hmmm. I can confirm that it's not working for a custom/magic weapon - I'll look into why.

While you are in the data file, the Sawtooth Sabre should technically be a Martial weapon for proficiency unless you want to use it as a Light weapon, which then requires the Exotic Weapon feat :).

Unfortunately, that one's a lot harder to fix. I'll put it on my to-do list. In the meantime, I'm afraid all I can suggest is to buy a longsword instead.

The light weapon stuff will be working in the next update.

I hope I'm not repeating what you already know. I've got a character from a player

Wizard (not proficient in a lot of weapons) with a DEX of 16, STR of 10
Weapon Finesse Feat (use DEX vs STR for light weapons as well as Curved Elven Blade)
Masterwork Elven Curved Blade

Herolab says his attack bonus is -3; I think it should say +0 (+3 DEX, +1 masterwork, -4 non-proficient). Per the rules, the Weapon Finesse Feat includes the Elven Curved Blade.

I apologize in advance if I'm merely relaying a known issue. Thanks!

I noticed with this last patch, 2.3, the free upbringing feat is not being added if selected. Any characters made before the patch are ok but any made since the patch only get one feat at 1st level whether the upbringing one is checked or not.

I worked around it by adding a feat as a permanent adjustment.

The Elven Curve Blade will be properly marked as a finesse weapon in the next update. Thanks for the report.

I haven't made any changes that should have affected this. The free upbringing feat is handled by having upbringing feats cost 0 slots if that source is selected, not by adding an extra feat slot. Could you give me some more description of what you were seeing in your previous characters and what you're seeing now?

Before when I created a character with the free upbringing feat checked I was able to pick 2 feats and level 1, one for being level one and the free one. Now whether the free upbringing feat is checked or not I am only allowed to pick one feat.

Thanks, that was it. :-)

The Cleric Fire domain 3rd level spell reads as "Fireball" on page 44 of the Pathfinder Core book. Herolab has it listed as "Resist Energy". Appreciate the fix. Thanks
