Community Created 3.5 D&D data set....

I know Fenris447 uses something like that to quickly input monsters into Hero Lab D&d 5e but I don't know of one for d&d 3.5.

Do you mean to a .user file or a portfolio? In theory, it should be possible to generate a .user file (they are just text), but I'm not aware of anyone having created a tool for this.

Aaah well. Yes, to a .user. Instead of having to write every single spell from athas.org, if we could automate this, this would save a lot of time. Then, you just have a look at each spell and see if there are nitpick to clean.

Perhaps. There are a lot of tags and little things that would be tricky. Probably easier to copy and paste the text description rather than create a tool, but I also don't make tools so what do I know?

Hello,

I am trying to apply the Spell Shield Variant Sorcerer Class Feature from Dungeonscape to my Sorcerer. However, it does not appear in the Variant Classes tab despite having Dungeonscape content enabled.

Is there something I should be doing to have it show up? Or perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place?

The Spell Shield Sorcerer has not been coded. The dungeonscape user file adds the Factorum class, equipment, some Feats, and a few class variant abilities (mostly Bard & Rogue).

Hi!

I don't know what is up with the software, but I am unable to access any user content. No matter how I reactivate my license, download d20, add d20 community package (from shadowsoftware), it just doesn't show up.

It's been since December I didn't use it and now it no longer works properly. Does anyone know what it could be?

Could you add the spell Spore field from the book complete scoundrel page 104.

And would it be possible to fix the pale master class cause it doesn't recognize the requirement of Vampiric touch and command undead.

I believe HL can't check if you know a specific spell. The class is coded to do the next best thing - it checks that you are an Arcane Caster with high enough level to cast both required spells. (2nd & 3rd level spells)
It is coded wrong though, since its currently looking for a Hero that can cast 6th Level Arcane spells.

You can correct your version in the editor:
Open the editor, open "3.5 - Libris Mortis.user", go to the Class tab, Class Level tab, Pale Master.
Open "Expr-reqs" and change the first one to
tagcount[Hero.Arcane] >= 3 + 1
Don't forget to save the change, and save the file.

I've fixed the Pale Master for the next release. The spell will take longer. Looks like all of the spells from Complete Scoundrel are missing. I'll add them.

Update: All spells added, and will be available for next release.

Minor fix:

power word nauseate should be level 6 on arcane list instead of level 5 ref: race of the dragon p. 116

and Plane Shift, Greater should be level 8 on the arcane spell list instead of level 7

Renewal domain dosen't add the charisma bonus to the 1d8 it provide as healing it always read + 0 no matter whats your stats bonus is

thxs

Thanks. Got these fixed. I'll take a look at the previous two requests when I have a bit more time.
