Hi,

I just bought the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Combat for Hero Lab looking to get the Furious Guardian prestige class. It doesn't seem to be there.

Yes, I do have Inner Sea Combat checked on the character configuration.

Has it not been implemented yet or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Murray

Are you certain of the name you're searching for? And are you certain that that's the real name of the prestige class, not just the PRD version of the name you found on d20pfsrd, or some other site that uses PRD names, not real names?

I just opened my pdf of Inner Sea Combat and searched for "Furious Guardian", and that text does not appear in the book.

Ah, nm...I see it is called "Ulfen Guard" and belongs in Golorian which is not OGL, so they had to call it "Furiuos Guardian. Thanks for the quick reply though

I have had issues with this in the past, and the good advice I was given was to search for the text of the ability within the relative field of Hero Lab.

If you're looking for a Prestige Class, search under classes.
Archetypes would be under archetypes.
Feats would be under feats.
Etc...

The text of the ability in question will be a hit, if you search within that field.
If you have the license, and it's enabled, you'll find the actual name within HL.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that when d20pfsrd.com added the storefront and became a profit making website they were no longer able to post anything non-OGL or Golarion-specific and had to make things... "generic"... for lack of a better term.

The Archives of Nethys on the other hand is still able to post most anything due to no profit being made from the website.

I could be grossly missing the particulars, but that is my simple understanding of what's happening between the two sites.
