Hero Lab Online and Starfinder Q&A

Very likely you will only have one account but can login with several devices at the same time. I don't think they will give you additional accounts (username/password).

I would imagine it will similar as Netflix or Amazon Prime. Every device is registered with the service, and can then be turned on or off from the main acct manager / device. I hope that they would add the option to turn off purchasing on some devices though.

That's not even remotely how Netflix works. Streams going out to IPs are what is monitored. That way you can open up any browser on a PC or tablet and get content. If they start noticing more than one stream going out to different IPs then they might shut down the account.

It's not uncommon for multiple streams going into one household over their public IP, and it's expected.

I'm not sure if this is something that can be answered yet or not, but I didn't see anything in the FAQ about it. I wondering If HLO will have a trial or Demo period before those on HLC decide to migrate and start paying toward the 2$/month+the Data pack for Starfinder.

I hope LWD will have this since you can demo everything in HLC before deciding to pay for the anything. My only issue is the monthly fee, since I can go week to month of not using HLC before I can get a game going with our group. Though it sounds like you can discontinue paying for any periods you don't think you'll be using it and pick it back up when you need too.

If only it worked that way. My Netflix was hacked and I only found out because weird stuff started showing up as having been watched recently by me.

Oh man, I hate when I am looking for "emotional independent dramas for hopeless romantics" and all I keep getting is "sentimental movies about horses for ages 11 to 12"! Isn't that just the worst?

Actually what I got were lots of trashy telenovelas in Spanish.

My sister tried to get me into "Jane the Virgin" but I just wasn't feelin' it. I should have known what was coming when I introduced her to K-dramas, the far superior brand of cringe!

Fascinating as this line of conversation may seem can we please get back on thread. Rob closed the other threads down to keep them in one place after all. Although "Jane the Virgin" hmmmm :)

Huh I could have swore I saw a section in the settings for device, but it's just per profile. Guess I was wrong, won't be the first time. :)

So I would definitely like to have the option to say that xx device / profile / key can purchase things, but yy device / profile / key can't. I can see plays cleaning out the DM's account in short order. :)

* Raises Hands in surrender * Fair enough, I'll buzz off and leave you all to discuss.

So, uh, Starfinder? Which end of the month was it?

Anyone know if there's been Community Content released for it?

I may just have to Adobe Pro up a sheet at this rate.

They've still got a solid week until the end of September... but ya know I can't seem to recall anyone specifically saying September 2017 *conspiracy gasp*

I'm just kidding, while anxiously waiting for news, keep up the good work guys!

Are we not answering questions in this thread anymore? I have not seen any questions answered by the staff in a while.

I imagine they are going pedal to the metal.

Hero Lab Online and the Content Market launch... that's a fair chunk of stuff to deliver that no doubt has their attention.

I concur! I had to help a friend with his HLC account and I found they are very busy, although they were able to complete the request.

In addition the last bunch of questions are asking very specific questions. Some of which most likely LW may not 100% know until the open beta tests are done. It would make sense that the open beta is going to help answer allot of questions for the community and LW. :)
