Please add
  • the ability to enter more than one XP in the Adventurer's Journal for Pathfinder Society characters. Society modules, adventures, etc, can reward more than one XP; the largest reward I've seen has been three.
  • an option to hide the dice on the 'Play' screen. Some of us still use actual dice and I, at least, find the dice on that screen to be distracting.
  • the ability make default Hero Settings portfolio-based instead of application-based. Pathfinder Society has one set of rules, books, and options. I have a different set for games I run. Still others may have they're own.
  • the ability to make 'Only Valid Items' the default option on item selection screens.
That's all I can think of for now. Great work on such a comprehensive application!

+1 for the first feature. It's not a huge deal for me, but I keep a character journal separately from the portfolio hero so adding dummy entries is kinda... dumb. :D

I don't care about feature #2. Real dice? Ugh! (Mostly just kidding. There are times when I need to roll a die and HL doesn't provide an option for it, so I use physical dice. That's mostly for damage effects of spells or things like falling damage, but can also be poison damage. If HL had a little popup "roll window" then I wouldn't need physical dice at all.)

I also don't care about feature #3. I just create an empty portfolio with all the settings I want, name it something like "PFS", then I duplicate the portfolio and rename it when starting a new character. This allows any number of "default" settings. I use this for both PFS and home games.

+1 on feature #4. As I've stated here on the forums before, instead of changing the default, just preserve the existing state when the screen closes and restore it when that screen comes back up. So if I select OnlyValid on the list of spells and close that panel, when I open it up again (for that character) I want the OnlyValid to be the default choice. This is the most flexible option since each panel will be the way you use it the most. :)
That's all I can think of for now. Great work on such a comprehensive application!
There are other threads with suggestions for iPad features(*), but I agree -- the HL app is very good in terms of functionality. Kudos to the LW team!

*Such as a field with the weight of all gear, divided up by player/henchmen/companions/etc; include source of modifiers in popups for skills, initiative, and so on (untyped bonuses, in particular, should display the source of the bonus); and others.
