What is your fee?

As the Content Market gets closer to being a reality I know some have already started working for various vendors to enter their adventures and rule books into Realm Works. To help me and others I would like to get an idea from those getting paid to create realms what their fee is. Do you charge a flat rate? An hourly rate? Or a per page rate?

I will start it off. My first gig, so far, was for $.75 per page plus a flat rate of $200 for my time to design the best layout. ask questions and do a lot of editing on the document. You find a lot of errors and inconsistencies entering a module or rules into RW. :(

I've done quite a bit of work for . . . free ;)

The one paid gig I have offered a rate per page or a % of sales but we have yet to discuss actual $. It's just not my priority at this stage.

I'll agree with the error finding. It can be quite painful to enter someone else's product into the tools, especially Hero Lab, which will very clearly identify stat blocks that have been made up vs the ones that follow the proper maths.

I'm still not sure if I even want to be making money for this to be honest. That makes it a job and I already have one of those.

I just really want to use Realm Works, and that means publishers need to want to sell their content via the CM so for now I'm happy to try and help make that happen.

Someone paid you this?

Let's just say the guy I worked for paid substantially less.
