The Ulfen Helm -Spell adjustment not showing?

So Jade Reagent has an item that isnt in Herolab. The Ulfen Helm, otherwise known as Helgarval. It grants the effect of Protection From Evil.

I add Protection From Evil under spell adjustments and check it. But nothing shows up on the character sheet.

Is something suppose to show up on the character sheet for spell adjustments? Am I doing something wrong?

I don't know if adjustments appear on the printed character sheets, but when the spell adjustment is ticked then all the stats displayed in HeroLab are updated to reflect the new bonuses/penalties available from that adjustment.

I would expect the modified stats to be printed on a character sheet.

The adjustment works fine for me - changing AC and Saves. The adjustment itself won't show on the character sheet, but you should see any modifications it makes.

I think the problem is that Protection from Evil only helps against evil creatures so it wouldnt change the AC on the sheet.

What I was hoping for was a small note under AC mentioning the +2 versus evil like it does for many other things about the character sheet.

Adjustments are meant to be used DURING the game in the software (laptop or iPad). As such they are scripted to actually change your values because you would be turning it on when facing Evil and turning it off when not facing evil.

In addition when I wrote those there was no such thing as "situational" save notes. :)

What it sounds like you want to do instead is go to the "Adjust" tab and under "Other" adjustments add "Saving Throw Situational" adjustment. Then you can add your +2 vs Evil note to your saves. Add another one for "Armor Class Situational". :)
