User created file errors after last few updates

Our game has been on hiatus since last year. HL had been working fine, but after the last session I installed HL & Pathfinder updates on my Mac and got the following message after restarting: "The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors. The following errors occurred:

File: PFMelia.user (line 452) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('pLongArm')
File: PFMelia.user (line 870) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('ipAgile')
File: PFMelia.user (line 892) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('ioQuickRun')
One or more timing errors were identified. Please review the timing report and correct the errors. You can access the report under the 'Develop' menu or by clicking this link."

Then, when I loaded Pathfinder and tried to open my old character I received a slew of "Critical information not found in data files", "has been orphaned due to missing thing" and "has been orphaned due to missing bootstrap" errors. When I launched the editor, all my user files seemed to be fine, but when I clicked "Test Now", I got the message: "Hero Lab was forced to stop compilation after the following errors were detected:". It then goes on to list the same .user file issues shown above.


I let it the problem go for the holidays since we weren't going to be playing anyhow; hoping that future updates would fix the errors. But I've installed a few updates since then and the errors persist; rendering my character unusable. Anyone have a clue what's happening here? I don't want to have to start over to use a character who'd been fine before. Help?
 
The unique ID used in your .user files must be well "Unique" for all of Pathfinder. You are using the same id as Things in the official Pathfinder game. Use the editor to change your unique ids.
 
Wow. All that because of three duplicate thing IDs? Odd that the there were no problems before the the update. Anyhow, I did as you said and everything seems to be working alright again. Thanks Shadow.

Did you buy new official licenses? As that would suddenly add more unique ids to your HL.

In example the agile power you have is also in the PFS field guide.
 
I see what you mean, but no; I haven't bought any new licenses in a fair bit. The issue suddenly popped up after a straight HL update in early December.
