SR 5th ed. Possible bug with adding gear.

Hey guys.
I know, there is a bug report feature and I've used it. Just in case it's an operator mistake, I wanna post here.

I bought the Hero Lab pack, chose SR5. Works great! I upgraded to include Run&Gun and Run Faster! and now when I go to add gear to my character that was saved using the base system, I can't add some specific pieces of gear (The Monosword, for example). Most firearms appear but some don't. This problem doesn't seem to happen when I create a fresh character.

Do you think this is a bug specific to my character? Any help is appreciated! I will just re-make my character if I have to, but would like to avoid it since HL tracks all gains nicely, and I've had some off gains and losses that might make it a pain.
 
Oi Chummer,

I sounds like you just need to load the character in question and use 'Configure Hero' under the 'Character' menu to select the new content for use by that character.

Once you do that, your character should have access to all of the cool new stuff!
 
Omae Configure Hero can also be accessed by Ctrl+K also did you make sure to re-activate your license after grabbing the updates from the Matrix? License-> Reactivate Current License.

Yeah, that was totally it. I felt kinda foolish but I guess that didn't feel as intuitive, haha! Thanks for the help Dave, and for that shortcut Andrew and I did make sure to reactivate my license. I managed to download the data files (but not unlock them), using the patcher and reactivated (before actually purchasing it) - thought I bugged it up somehow.
