Text fields on gear items?

I may be missing something basic, but I've searched and can't find anything. My character has weird pieces of gear that have been picked up over time. I currently have a lot of notes as to appearance, properties and history of some of the gear and I can't find a way to note that on the item. Is there a simple text field that can be linked to a piece of gear or magic item? Or a random notes page for the character?

There is a notes section on the personal tab, and you can keep track of things using the text of journals, but nothing which links directly back to a specific item, no.

Install the community "Pathfinder Basic Pack" then turn on "ShadowChemosh's Adjustments". On the "Adjust" tab add a "Other Adjustment" and look for "Equipment, Notes" and add it. Then select your equipment you want to append notes too and enter it where it says "Notes". You can store up to 100 characters of.
