Preclude a whole class of things?

One of the things I'm going to need as my Broken Earth project goes forward is that at some point I'm going to have to Preclude essentially the whole equipment list, because even the items that are on the normal list have a different price scheme, and need to have availability codes assigned.

Is there any way, maybe in a setting rule, to tell the program "Ignore all Gear except from this Source?"

On a related question, is it possible to edit in a column for the Availability entry, and if so, how?

There's a checkbox under Mechanic to... I forget the exact term used, but something about ignoring standard gear or the like. That will take care of that for you. Any gear from other sources should only show if those sources are checked so you should probably be good there.

On availability, we see that in more than a few SW settings.. Availability/Rarity and so on, so I'd like to see and entry for that added to gear. For now I just include it in the description.

Cool.

I figured that might be what I'd have to do. If I put it in the short description it should be fairly visible.

Check Settings in the Editor. There's a switch there to remove Standard Gear. Just create a Setting record for your Source, and check that box.
