Just downloaded the 5.3 hero lab

Yea, that looks like you have two Arms and Equipment Guide user files present. There is no reason that the latest release would cause that on its own. Did you change the name of a file? Another possibility is that you missed a release somewhere in between. If you have no custom .user files of your own, you might consider removing all .user files and re-downloading the community set. If you decide to do this, I recommend saving all your current .user files in another folder so that you don't lose anything you or someone else may have put in there that you forgot about.

I may have missed a down load. I download the community file (1.2) again and am still getting the same error and have lost access to all 3.5 “official” book set. (see pic)

I cannot seem to find the .user files, if you could point me in their direction it would be helpful.

Yes, when the user files don't compile, the sources don't appear in the configure window.

To find your .user files, open HL, and go to the menu. Tools --> Explore Folders --> Game System Data Folder.
 
Hey guys, I have been having a similar problem. I just recently purchased herolab and was delighted when I found out you all have a huge collection of the 3.5 books. After following the instructions to get the package from cheeseweasel.net I first encountered the smite evil/smite good weird issue where I had to open the editor and remove the duplicates. But now Im getting this issue:

Hero Lab was forced to stop compilation after the following errors were detected:

I tried updating but it seems I have the most recent updates or I am not doing it correctly. Ive tried deleting all of herolab and reinstalling and following the install instructions but I arrive at the same place. HELP!!!!!
