Is their any way to change a feat or Ranger Talent from Unique to add once?
The Ranger Talents work fine except they do not vanish from the selection table once selected. As I did not understand the difference between Unique and add once, now I do.

The difference between Add Once and Unique are very very subtle. What your explaining above about being selectable more than once is NOT the difference between Add Once and unique. It has to do with how HL deals with "live states" that makes them act different.

For the purposes of selecting Feats/Traits and vanishing from the list they are the exact same thing.

To change a Thing in the editor from "Add Once" to "Unique" you use the drop down next to the Unique ID. If you are ever using Bootstrap conditions its best to have things as "add once" over unique actually I have found.

I would need to find Aaron's post about the subject as I don't 100% recall as mentioned above. Its about how the "live state" is interpreted by HL and Unique set items can cause "weird" results when combined with bootstrap condition logic. I have seen this and changing the Thing back to Add Once solved my bootstrap issues. So I now try and never use Unique.

Hmmm let me see if I can find Aaron's post about it.

Sorry was not trying to be mean about it. Just thought it was sort of funny. The answer is truly very techy in the difference and I "sort" of get it. As I have found issues before and changing a thing from Unique to Add Once fixed my issue.

But I don't really get it well enough to "explain" it to someone else. So its easy to forget about it. ;)
