activating the cloud

I'm ready to purchase realm works, but I have one major problem hickup but perhaps the solution is already in place.

You get six months of cloud support and yet once I get Realm Works it will take me at least four months before I complete my realm, and my understanding is the player version isn't even out so the use of the cloud would not be relevant.


Can I purchase the product but activate the cloud when I'm ready to get my six months of use with it?

Zaphod Beebledoc has it right on! The 6 months cloud will start when the Player Edition releases.
