My challenge was meant in the spirit of fun. I did say it was tongue-in-cheek, and that if you couldn't handle that, it wouldn't be my problem, so stop reading. You kept reading then chose to respond negatively. Again, not my problem.
 
I asked everyone to be respectful, but that appears to have been a tall order. It seems Christmas has brought out the inner child in a number of folks, as some of you seem compelled to keep trying to get the last word in, just like my nephews used to do when they were kids. :(

Well, the last word here is mine. Everybody step away, take a deep breath, and come back later. This thread is now closed.

Later today, I'll come back and address a few of the questions that were raised above. I MAY re-open the thread at that point, but only if I feel that better decorum will prevail here. Please give me reason to believe that will be the case.... :)
 
Quick note: Today did not go the way I envisioned it, so I'm not going to be able to address some of the questions that have been raised as I had planned for tonight. I had to euthanize my cat tonight. She's been my loyal companion for just shy of 20 years and the whole experience has really messed me up. :(

I have to be on a plane in less than 12 hours and haven't slept yet, so I don't expect I'll be back online until Saturday at the earliest. Thanks in advance for being patient and cutting me a little slack right now. :)
