Help with fixing error

I down loaded the 4.2 update of 8-11. and one of my user files disapeared and the program say theres is an error that is in that file.

The is error that is returned when I load the program.
Hero Lab was forced to stop compilation after the following errors were detected:

Thing 'cHelpSnt' - Bootstrap thing 'cChamas' does not exist
Thing 'cHelpSnt' - Bootstrap thing 'cChamas' does not exist

how do I fix the problem?

I checked the program data file and all of my other user files are present except one A file that i Made fr a new animal companion Biggily
 
Found and fixed problem. It was in a file that had never given me problems before. I still cannot figure out why my animal companion race disapeared from the program data file.

The file is still there but I cannot find it. As soon as I fixed the bootstrap problem I got all my user created content back.

Once HL hits an error in a user data file it goes into safe mode which prevents the load of ALL .user files. This allows you to start the editor and fix the issue.

So that is why you saw all the sources and Things not being available until you fixed the issue.
