Chromebook: will it ever see Hero Lab

Hey everybody,
for Christmas I got a chrome book as a gift. A spiffy little device, but I can not figure out how to run hero lab on this thing. Am I not trying hard enough?

Hero Lab requires either the full Windows or Mac OSX operating system. The Chromebook uses its own Chrome OS, so Hero Lab won't run on the Chromebook. Sorry. :(

In case it helps, a good rule of thumb - If you can normally do something through a web browser, you can probably do it on a Chrome book. If it runs outside the browser, probably not - you'd have to find an equivalent browser app.
