Justiciar Prestige Class

I'm trying to find a data file for the Justiciar prestige class (d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/i-m/justiciar), but I can't seem to find one, so I decided to try to make my own.

After tinkering with the Class and Class Level tabs, I found that the New (Copy) list contained some already-made Justiciar functionality, but I couldn't get any of it to mesh into a usable product. The most common result was that the class just didn't show up in the class list in HL along with the others.

So two questions:

First, is there an available data file for Justiciar anywhere? I've checked d20PFSRD's file section and they don't have one that I see.

Second, if there isn't an available file, could I snag some guidance in creating my own in relation to the issues above? I'd be more than happy to put it up on the SRD if I can.

Do you have "Curse of the Crimson Throne" turned on? That's the adventure path Justicar is from.

Aha. I'm not quite as familiar with the older stuff, thanks.

However, the specs given with the "Justicar" PC in the list differ from what Curse of the Crimson Throne gives for its Justiciar. Do you know if there were errata'd or anything?

If you mean the saves, compare the saving throws for 3.5 prestige classes to the saving throws for Pathfinder prestige classes - the calculation method changed.

d20pfsrd lists the original source of each thing at the bottom of the page. That can often help you figure out what package you should be looking in for something in Hero Lab. In this case:

Section 15: Copyright Notice - Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure 8: Seven Days to the Grave
Pathfinder 8: Seven Days to the Grave. Copyright 2008, Paizo Publishing, LLC; Author: F. Wesley Schneider.

At the bottom of the d20pfsrd pages is a "Copyright 15" section which also lets you know what book the thing is from. That can be very handy in finding out which HL package you need to turn on.

CoTC was 3.5 AP so their would be some changes to convert to pathfinder. What are you seeing as different?

Yeah, I guess I wasn't paying attention to the CotCT part of it. Tunnel vision with links, I suppose.

As for the differences, the obvious one is the name. Justiciar has an extra 'i' that the listed version doesn't, but that's just nitpicky.

After further investigation, it looks like the only mechanical difference is the hit die. It's a d10 in HL as opposed to a d8 from the original.

Pathfinder design idea is that hit dice size is linked to BAB. So Full BAB classes are d10 now which is why the Ranger is d10 instead of d8. So based on that idea the Justiciar should be d10 not d8 when converted to Pathfinder rules.

Ah, true. Just takes some outside eyes to point out what's going on sometimes.

Thanks, guys!
