I am adding a skill called Reading/writing (I have a house rule that nobody starts literate), and I want it to be a class skill for all classes. Is there an easier way to do this other than going to clone each class, changing its skill set, and then replacing the old class?

Oddly, I just added support for this. In the editor, you should now see
an "Always a Class Skill?" option for skills - checking this will make
the skill count as a class skill for all classes.
