Hello!
I have fallen in love with the flexibility and power of scripting new content in Hero Lab, but that has led to the problem of how to manage it all. Is there a way to make my different data (.dat) created through the editor show up as house rule sets in the new portfolio menu like some of the ones that ship with HL? Thanks for the help! |

From what I've read here, not yet, but that capability will be in the authoring kit that's being worked on now.
If you want to create a new item for the startup menu (for a different game world for example), here's a thread with that: http://support.wolflair.com/index.ph...ewtopic&t=7969 |

Since I happened across this post while looking for the link I had left here, this capability has been added in 2.2.

Thank you! One more reason I love this product, it just keeps getting better every time I check.

Ummm... I screwed up messing around with the data files. I now get data errors/compile errors & HL won't let me add new classes or anything. I tried reinstalling the game system, but that still doesn't work!

Once you do that, open the editor and fix whatever caused the problem, then reload the game system and you should be back to normal. -- Colen McAlister, colen@wolflair.com |
