I am modifying the magic system for a campaign. In order to access spells, characters have to meet certains prerequisites. For example, accessing fire spells requires a certain ability, and teleportation spells require another.
Is it possible (maybe through a mechanic) to "batch modify" spells to have those prerequisites? From what I remember, you can only affect picks via scripts, not things, so that's where I expect the problem to be; is there another way, aside from basically rewriting every spell with the new prereqs? |

Question 1a: if it's not possible to add prereqs to things, is it possible to add some to picks, in this case to spells in a spell book?

There aren't any mass-modify mechanisms for HLC (unless this is a system where you have the raw files, and you've posted this in the PF1 section, and PF1 is one of our packaged games).
Prereqs are not something that can be created within a script or in any other way that would let you add them to the spells inside a spellbook. |
