I'd like to add a feature request to your already-long list: the
ability to generate sealed decks/boosters within Card Vault, either
based on your inventory of cards, or based on the entire card
database. I think this would require some additional work by data
file authors, as the card/minature breakdown for what exactly is in
a 'starter' or 'booster' varies by game system (and release, in some
cases).

Is anyone else interested in this feature?

In an unrelated matter. Could Rob of Colin pop me an email off line. I had a computer crash over the weekend and my license / authorship and all are gone.

Thanx.

If this sort of thing happens, just go to http://www.lonewolfdevel.com/ and
choose the 'Send My Licenses to Me' option, entering the email address you
used to activate the licenses in the first place. Your licenses will then
be sent to that email address, and you can install them into Card Vault in
the usual way.

Regarding authorship things, I'll sent that in a private email. Bad luck
with the computer crash

Hope this helps,

This is the sort of thing that, I think, could be best implemented by
writing a custom extension. You could add the cards from the releases you
wanted to include to a deck, then simply run the custom extension on it
(which would pick out random cards using some criteria you could specify).

Hope this helps,

Colen's suggestion is absolutely correct. In fact, we added inventory
summary extensions specifically for this type of use. You can write a
pretty simple extension that uses the rarity information included in the
summary XML file to generate random sealed decks and/or boosters. The best
part is that it bases everything on YOUR inventory, so you'll always get a
deck/booster for which you have the cards!
