I have seen this asked twice using the search and only one answered somewhat advising that this was a planned feature but that thread was very old and could have been addressed by now in the application.

1) Is it possible to add new companions to this list be it custom animals I create or other existing ones already found in books?

2) If cannot add new companions, is it possible to link the companion progression to another creature (say an animal as a hireling) as a work around?

3) Is there any other ways to add the druid animal progression to others creatures (any creature/npc/monster/etc.) within Herolabs?

I am using Herolab V4.2b.

Thank you.

The editor allows adding new "Race, Animal Companion" objects, so yes.
