To whom it may concern,
Please read the message thread below... I would like to formally submit the Necrons data file for Army builder and maintain it. ---- Hello Brian, Thank you for your email. My apologies for taking this long to get back to you. We've been pretty busy and a little understaffed. You will make a lot of people happy with your Necrons file. There is already an author for the 40K file, and that is the person you need to coordinate with to get your Necrons updates posted. You may also want to coordinate with the author about having you maintain the Necrons file. Here's what you have to do: Contact the data file author of the current 40K data files and let him/her know that you have updates for Necrons. To contact the data file author, from within Army Builder, with the data files for the game system loaded, go to the Help menu and select "Contact Data File Author". This will typically launch your email program with an email to the author. In some cases, the email address is instead displayed in a dialog that appears when you load the data files. As a last resort, the author's contact info will be found on our web-site. Go to the "Army Builder Downloads" section and select "Retrieve Data Files". Pick the genre of the game and you should see the logo of the game displayed. The author's email address should be shown next to the game. Regards, Lupe At 07:27 PM 6/2/2002 -0500, you wrote: Hello, I have created the updated army builder data file for Warhammer 40k Necrons (updated codex). And would like to formally submit it as the new approved army data file. In addition I would like to be the support arthur for this file. What do I have to do to make this happen? Who do I need to speak to to get the necrons data file
for warhammer 40k submitted as the formal data file. No one seems to be answering regarding this and I would really like to know. I have attempted to contact the original arthur and my email gets returned as undeliverable. I also contacted wolflair and directed me here (see message thread below). If anyone knows please tell me... I know there are alot of people wanting to play the new Necron army and can't get an update for armybuilder. --- desertbeagle <desertbeagle@yahoo.com> wrote: > To whom it may concern, > > Please read the message thread below... > > I would like to formally submit the Necrons data > file for Army > builder and maintain it. > > ---- > > Hello Brian, > > Thank you for your email. If there is already one ready great... I have created
one also and I'm willing to support it. But if no one needs it then thats ok too. Can't wait for the official one to get included in the standard package. Just let me know... I will do what ever to support the cause. --- wraithwlf <graham.tracey@lscfn.ca> wrote: > Not to mention that there is already a necrons file > submitted and > ready to go...... > > --- In armybuilder@y..., "Steven J Cox" > <stevenjcox@b...> wrote: > > Me.
