Some time in the past I created a "Human Werebear" subrace for human.
Ever since, HL is telling me that I need to select a subrace whenever I make a human character. Do I need to delete the Werebear subrace from my custom user file or is there a way to edit it so that having it doesn't require a subrace to be selected for human. If the former—if I have to delete the werebear subrace—can I export just that subrace so that I can use it in the future? Do what I did in a similar situation. Create a subrace called Standard and have it do nothing. Select that when you don't want the werebear.

I would think a 'Were' anything should be a Template instead of a race although I don't think you can apply Templates to PC's only monsters.
Perhaps do this as a Var. Racial Trt similar to the Varient Human? That make's it an optional pick. It was kinda a one-off, so I just deleted it. I never implemented it very well to begin with.
We should be able to apply templates to player characters, given that a number of monster-manual monsters (vampires, lycanthropes) provide rules for applying the monster condition to player characters.
