Hi all, I'm getting an error message whenever I try to launch Realm Works, before I even get to the login screen. The error message says:

database file appears corrupt ()
bad checksum
checksum error on database page 95806

I don't know of anything that would have caused this error, as Realm Works launched fine last week and I haven't made any changes since then. I've tried reinstalling Realm Works, including removing "the remaining Realm Works program data", but that doesn't seem to solve the issue.

Has anyone else gotten this error message? Or does anyone know of a solution? Thanks in advance for your help.

Logged a fault?

I'm waiting on a response from LW currently due to a crash causing bug in my DB somewhere. Get it logged asap as its taking them quite a bit to respond.

I don't think this is anything that the community can help you with. If you have not already, you should file a support request.

Yikes! I don't believe we've ever seen that error before! That seems to imply that the database itself has become corrupted, which probably points to an issue on your computer.

Absolutely open a support case. Please note that RW always keeps a backup of the database from the last 10 times you started the product. So you'll be able to fall back to one of those backups or sync back down from the server if the database file itself can't be recovered.
