Hi after working on one of my realms, I exited and went to sync it as usual. The sync failed with the code -502 and Sync Finalize Failure. As I tried to exit out of RW and open it up again a new update had come through. I updated, thinking that might be the answer, however it was not. I restored the database from an auto-backup, but that did not change the sync error status. I researched and saw a post about deleting the local data, but not the cloud, and re-syncing. I did that, and it still does not work. My local data shows only 1 entry, while my cloud shows the actual full realm. What do I do?

I deleted my local data again, then re-synced it, and it worked. Everything was back.

I got the "Sync Finalize Failure -502" twice in a row. Then on the third try it said success.

Can I trusting my data is now safe in the cloud?
Anybody else have this happen?

I have had a few times. Always working in the end.

Just remember, you are not directly connected to the cloud server. There are literally hundreds of devices, connections, redirects, routes etc. between you and the final drive space your syncing with.

An error on your system, or on any of the above, all the way to the final space can and will have an affect. But if you don't feel safe having a backup....well.
