We really need flora in Mechanics Reference. Flora has medicinal properties, poison, spell components and can be edible. It makes sense to have reference to it in RW.

Yep, when I did 'herbs of farland', I created a custom equipment category for herb.
Snippets included price, rarity, climate, terrain, description, and application or use. Additional info snippets went further into lore or mechanics. |

+1 I like the idea of Flora and Fauna being separate groupings though.
Spell components should be a separate listing in my mind as most of them require treatment for storage or preparation. Bat Wings for example don't really fit under flora or fauna. Dried bat wings may have different effects if from different species for example. |
