Here's where things stand with the DBM data files for the 2nd edition of
the army lists and AB 2.0:

The following armies are done:
New Kingdom Egyptian, Mountain Indian, Gallic, Alan, North-Western
American, Khwarizmian, Early Swiss, Later Swiss.

The following armies are in the debugging stage:
Later Carthaginian, Sassanid Persian, Dynastic Bedouin, Medieval German.

The following armies are implemented using only v1.4 techniques:
Later Macedonian, Commagene, Early German, Ancient British, Caledonian,
Burgundi or Limigantes, African Vandal, Estonian.

The following armies exist in a skeleton stage or only with troops eligible
as allies:
Early Armenian, Hellenistic Greek, Early Imperial Roman, Later Moorish,
Hunnic, Central Asian Turkish, Ghurid, Qara-Khitan, Feudal English,
Medieval French, Later Pre-Islamic Arab, Ancient Spanish, Dynastic Kurdish,
Kushan.

That only leaves 276 more armies to go...

My goal is to have a release at the end of next week with at least 75% of
the above armies in it. I'll also be updating the reference document on
how to implement DBM armies.

All this information will be sitting on a web page that will be the
reference and collection point for all DBM AB files. It will also contain
a list of all armies, their race codes, state, date last updated, and the
email address of the person responsible for writing the file.

It's a lot of work for what's likely a small audience, but there's so many
armies that they MUST be organized, or all hell will break loose.

Eric

Hi Eric,

Once you've got all the guidelines up, I'd be happy to try my hand at the
armies I play (other than NKE which seems to be done), namely: Asiatic
Early Successor, Marian Roman and Teutonic Knights. Please keep me informed.

Cheers,
Phil

That would be wonderful, Phil. Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know

Some time tonight, there will be a posting at
http://www.landesfamily.com/dbmab. I won't have the Medieval Germans done
(yet) but there will be a lot of info up there.

Rob knows about this new location, and will be updating his page after he
recovers from GenCon.
