Any suggestions on how to add lair actions using the default 5e layout? The simplest would be to add action snippets to each creature that gets lair actions.
Monster manual has them separated from monster stat blocks and they can apply to a group of creatures (i.e. dragons). So I think a better solution is a snippet linking to an article about a specific type of creatures layer actions with action details. Where would you place said article? Layout suggestions? Which would you do? Leaning toward the first (KISS) even though some repetition will be required. |

I just add a lair actions category within the topic and put the snippets under that.

I'd do it the way daplunk talks about. The only time I create separate topics is when there is a definite name and there is a likelihood of multiple links to the same topic.

Don't forget you can add multiple names. So even if you want it linkable you can still have it in the same topic.

Thanks or the suggestions. Delayed in responding because I thought I would get email notifications. I went ahead and did it the way you all suggested. I was leaning toward that way anyway. I used the CSV2RW utility to load them in. Worked as advertised. Fantastic!
