Does this mean that Starfinder will not arrive until HL online or will a legacy version be available first? |

Everything I have read indicates they are not working on Starfinder for Hero Lab. It's coming straight to Hero Lab Online. Starfinder will be the first game system released on Hero Lab Online.

So why tell us on the 3rd of the month that they will have starfinder before the end of the month. I am pretty sure that Hero Lab online was not conceived after this date!

While answering questions on BJ's Facebook page, BJ and Aaron confirmed that Starfinder is (at the present time, plans subject to change, etc.) only for Hero Lab Online and will not be coming to desktop Hero Lab. Last edited by Parody; August 29th, 2017 at 09:12 AM. |

Yes this is what I saw too, I am not disputing what has been stated, but I would like an explanation as to why this has changed since the original post on the 3rd August.

I don't think anything has changed. They said Starfinder would drop at the end of the month but neglected to say how it would drop. We now know it's HLO that is dropping. Personally, I think it sucks that it won't be for the desktop version anytime soon (if ever) but I understand. Why make so many different versions of the same system when all these systems access the same internet. As much as I don't like subscription services, I don't mind paying $2 a month for access. Maybe there will be discounts if you pay more up front.
