It sure would be nice if a Die Icon showed up next to weapons, skills, saves, etc., so a user of Hero Lab (full version on a PC) can simply click on the icon and the software would roll and display the results of the dice roll. It looks like this is already on the iPad version. For those of us who use Hero Lab during play on a desktop or laptop, this feature would be very helpful. In fact, the rest of the players in my group won't purchase Hero Lab without this feature.

Just out of curiosity, what are you users of Hero Lab using for dice rolls during game play?

Either physical Dice or the Dice Roller built into HL itself.
Not near HL at the moment but its in one of the headers at the top of the main program interface.

The Dice Roller is under the View menu in Hero Lab. It sounds like some people use it. But what I really hope they will put into Hero Lab is a dice icon next to all skills, weapons, saves, etc., so a user only clicks that icon once and the dice is rolled with all the added bonus included. I would assume most Hero Lab users are using actual dice.

I'm not a bit consistent. In one Pathfinder campaign, where we are using MapTool, I use MapTool's die roller. In the other Pathfinder campaign, where we don't use MapTool, I use Hero Lab's die roller. In the Savage Worlds campaign, I use physical dice.

Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition
Currently Playing:
Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures
Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds
