Honestly, for "in play", a properly built html file similar to what AncientOne did would work for most of the game systems on Android. I personally have zero need at all to "edit" characters on a tablet. I WOULD want to be able to make a power as used, or apply a bonus out of x possible bonuses and see the sheet updated to show the combined result. Of course, I woudl not turn down an android app, but not only do I not have IPad, but I also don't play the two damned systems they DO support(Savage Worlds)

The power of the app on high level play is indispensable, adding spell effects, and feat modifiers, swapping gear, it makes play so much easier than an HTML file. Even AncientOne which is a great HTML Character Sheet. I guess that is the difference, HL isn't a character sheet, it is a dynamic character app.
But I just came here to +1 the feature request for Landscape/Splitscreen. So +1 |

It seems like all the cool kids are doing it.
+1 to Landscape as well. Currently playing: Starfinder Fallout, Star Wars Saga Edition, Savage Worlds Slipstream. |

I use the apple magnetic keyboard all the time, would be great to have Hero Lab work in Landscape. I like to type out journals and stuff, so much easier with a keyboard. Also it just takes up less space on the table

+1 for rotation. I bring my iPad Pro 10.5 to the table with the smart keyboard attached. It'd be great if I could actually use it in this case.

So... came back to this thread 2 years later from the last post. Searched forums for any indication that landscape mode has been enabled - nothing. So why not... re-installed Hero Lab to my iPad Pro and activated my original license for it. STILL NO LANDSCAPE??? Are you guys freaking kidding me?

Well it looks like they have indeed given landscape mode on portable devices. Android support too. It's just coming in Hero Lab Online instead of Hero Lab.

I'd rather be able to use Herolab on my 6Plus. It's got a full Retina screen!
