The only issue with having the file stored there directly is that you will have to manually update it every time there is a new release. If you could store the link in the group instead of the actual file, then it would make it easier to maintain. Farling - thanks for the reply.
No it isnt in the files yet (always ask 1st !)... and yes i realise i will have to update it as time goes by. I will add the link to our links section too and make note on the file that most up to date one is there. Keep up the marvellous work, ur helping to keep this alive IMO. regards, paul |

Version 2.8 has been created.
This is just to have the version of Qt updated to 5.12.8. But it also sorts out an issue on github where the release file wasn't visible if you visited the releases page, even though the link from the first post here was working correctly! The version reported by the application and windows will still be 2.7 though. Hmm. Pulled down 2.8 through Edge and Windows Defender came up with 'This file has been blocked because it could harm your PC'.
Can someone verify the file hasn't been tampered with? |

I have a good rwoutput file (ie., it loads and then outputs to HTML just fine) but the Create Markdown file(s) remains grayed out so I am unable to export to markdown files for import into Obsidian... any thoughts?

I will update the instructions, but to get Markdown output you need to select an RWEXPORT file, not an RWOUTPUT file. This means doing a "Full Export" from Realm Works and you will find the file in your "Realm Works/Export" folder.

OK, silly me.
I was thinking this was for Obsidian Portal, but Obsidian is pretty cool in and of itself! D100 for life! |

Obsidian Portal is not even in the same realm as Obsidian.md. Especially with all this OGL concern floating around.
If you want to see what Obsidian.md can do WATCH THIS. It really is imo the only tool I've come across that could do what Realm Works does and has since grown significantly to provide way more functionality than RW in a local and easy data structure. Example: We used to talk about how nice it would be if you could have calculations in your notes within Realm Works. Some sort of maths feature. Well Obsidian can absolutely do that. Imagine having location notes that automatically calculate travel time to the next town! It exists already Realm Works - Community Links Realm Work and Hero Lab Videos Ream Works Facebook User Group CC3+ Facebook User Group D&D 5e Community Pack - Contributor General Hero Lab Support & Community Resources D&D 5e Community Pack - Install Instructions / D&D 5e Community Pack - Log Fault / D&D 5e Community Pack - Editor Knowledge Base Obsidian Obsidian TTRPG Tutorials |
