Rob, that was an excellent real-world example, and I think that should be stickier or something to preserve for others needing to see the system employed.

I've got this flagged as something I should adapt into a Designer's Diary article. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get it done, since the article also has to be extended to discuss when it's NOT a good idea to blend things together. However, this example will ultimately get preserved in a more visible location in the not-too-distant future.
