Looking for the ETA on the updates for SR5 HeroLab and the addition of the latest books.
The last big addition was Run Faster and that was only a portion of the actual content. Still missing some changes from SG concerning certain spirit qualities/powers and general update/bug fixes. I don't expect the latest book, Chrome Flesh, but Data Trails should at least be ready. It had very little crunch in terms anything game changing. |

That is why I am bothering to post and ask that question. A lot of us have put in a lot of money purchasing the licensing for this software and it's add-ons. And as limited as the license may be and considering the amount of money we have invested into the supplement modules, we should be afforded the decency of getting an ETA on regular updates.
Even though Pathfinder and Paizo is investing into HeroLab, the other systems should not lose priority considering that we are also paying customers. |

Hi Hibiki54,
We're really sorry about the delay of Data Trails and the other Shadowrun content. We had originally planned to release Data Trails in the run-up to Gen Con, but circumstances got away from us and we had to postpone it. For Shadowrun, we unfortunately don't get the PDFs until Catalyst has released them to the public. That means that unlike Pathfinder, where we have 2-3 months of headroom to enter books (and plenty of warning that they're coming), we're on much more of a short timescale, and we can't release them "same day" like we try to do with Pathfinder books. Still, you're right that Data Trails is very late, which we apologize for. It has a surprising amount of crunch in it - the new AI races, for example, is a big chunk of work for us to do, and there was a lot of other data that had to be entered. Mathias is working on integrating that content into Hero Lab right now, and we're planning to release that later this month. We're planning a news post this week that will talk more about our plans for Shadowrun over the next few months, and when you can expect Chrome Flesh and the missing content from Run Faster to start appearing. Hope this helps, and sorry for the delays! |

Yes, it'll be in the next release, as part of Supplement Package #2.

Hey everyone, here's the news post that Colen mentioned earlier with some ideas about release timing: http://www.wolflair.com/blog/2015/08...b-coming-soon/. Please note, these are release estimates.

Once Data Trails is done, my main task for Chrome Flesh will be coordinating and checking the work of the people handling the data entry, which I think will leave me with some free time, and I'll be using that to work on Run Faster, but no solid estimates at this time.
