Pathfinder Role-Playing Game for iPad v10.13
Can't add Emissary Archetype to master and familiar Character Type: Sorcerer Archetypes: Tattoo Sorcerer On the Classes tab under Add Archetypes, Emissary is grayed out. It says, "This archetype may only be selected by a characters with a familiar." - But a Tattoo Sorcerer has a familiar. When I switch to the familiar's portfolio, on the Minion tab. Emissary is not even an option in the Add Alternate Racial Traits and Animal Archetypes box. |

Yes it is turned on..
I see the option for it but it is grayed out for the master along with all the other Archetypes. For the familiar it isn't there but the other Archetypes are there (Decoy, Figment, Mascot, Mauler, Protector, Sage) and not grayed out. |

The rules for Archetypes specify that you can't add two that modify the same class feature. HeroLab won't stop you, but it will show it as an invalid choice after you add it, and the choice will be grayed-out in the selection list because it fails the validation check.

Silveras,
Hero Labs tells you that you need to add the archetype to both the master and familiar once you pick it for the master. It is available but grayed out for the master. But you can pick it. So I did. But it is flat out missing for the familiar. But the others are available. I'm able to make a Mauler available easy. I think the Emissary is bugged. I put in a report. |

I don't own Familiar Folio, so can't verify this specific archetype, but familiar/companion archetypes are a bit different. on the master, they are added on the Classes tab, along with the master's class archetype(s). On the familiar/companion, however, they are added on the Minion tab, in the section with Alternate Racial Traits.
