I've been going back and forth on Realm Works for some time. I've been watching the videos from Gen Con and have a few questions that came up;
1. Can you link multiple reveals together? ex reveal one place and update in multiple places? 2. Can I create custom object templates? ex every time I make a new settlement object it gives me a form to fill out. Same for NPCs, organizations, etc 3. Do you support multiple parties adventuring in the same Realm? 4. Can we specify part of an item to keep a list of all items that link back to it? For example, I have an organization in my game. If I tag all NPCs who are members of that organization will the membership list update automatically? |

Without any warranty:
1. Depends..., but you can "pre-reveal" things within a topic and once you reveal the topic all snippets you marked for revealed will be revealed as well. 2. Yes, Click: Manage -> Categories -> Click on the "+" of the Topic categories. There you can add all properties. 3. No, you have only one set of topics to play with per realm. 4. No, I think you can deal with that by adding relations. (Also on the right side of the screen). For example you keep track of an organisation with the "Belongs to or within" and "comprises or Encompasses" relationship types. |

For number 4, AEIOU just created a feature request for it that Rob has started discussing:

If the answer is yes, then both games should be in one realm and it's not possible yet. Currently when you reveal topics, it is revealed to all players within your realm. On our to do list is the ability to reveal items to players individually. Once that's possible, you should be able reveal information to the players in one party, and keep the information concealed for the members of the other party. Please let me know if you have other questions. |
