My daughter is a die hard TOS fan and I am trying to put a game together for her. I am trying to use the Prime Directive D20 and D20 Modern/Future to make Star Trek characters in Herolab. But before I go to all this trouble has anyone else done this project already? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

LOL Love the picture.
Have you looked into Savage Worlds, and use the new SciFi companion for rules. Its a simple system that has fast combat easy to learn and general enough that you can apply Star Trek to it. |

Thanks, Sabel! I've heard great things about Savage Worlds but I am trying to avoid investing in a new system since we have so many D20 and Pathfinder books already.

Are there any rules oddities between Star Trek D20 and D&D 3.5? Not simple things like different classes or skills, but brand new features like Force Points/Dark Side Points from Star Wars D20.
If there are, I can try and help you implement them. They are what will change this from tiring or tedious to very hard. |

Thanks, Mauron. I don't believe so. Some races possess psionics but that is already in D20.
I know I will have to input races, classes, feats, and skills. But once I do that how do I save them? |

In the editor, just save them as .user files.
