Can anyone give me a detailed account of how to utilize - or view - the relationships between various things (people, items, story topics, etc) in conjunction with the player view? I've set up relationships, but I cannot get them to show up easily within the player view.

Right Click on the Relationship window once you have it set, you can select, "Show in Player View"

Right, I understand that. But I was hoping for a more detailed explanation of how to use it - how to end up with a long chain of entities/individuals (whatever) to show up in the player view.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, you can't. Only one degree of relationships show up.

So how do we show every NPCs connection to Kevin Bacon?
Obviously, we would only need - at most - six levels. |

Hi!
I also have some problem with the relationship player view. I have 2 topics, both are revealed. Both relationships are going from topic 1 towards topic 2 (public + private attitude). Both relationships are revealed. In the relationship GM view, I can see both topics , the private attitude and the public attitude in a dotted line. However, when I press Shift + P -> show it in player view I just see topic 1 in the info box. What am I doing wrong? EDIT: Argh, only 60 seconds after posting this I found the solution. Apparently player view has to be setup separately via one of the small buttons in the player view. Last edited by Acenoid; May 23rd, 2014 at 08:19 AM. |
