How to apply ddidownload content to 4e module ? Error with premade HL characters

Good evening,
I am a new user of HL, I have downloaded all DDI content from my active account without any errors.
I retreive the .dat files but Hero Lab does not seem to update itself following that download.
Do you need to import those files first ?
Is there a procedure that make those downloaded files active ?
I still cannot select any classes, races, abilities (highlighted in red) in the character creation window.

When I try to open the HL premade Portfolio, the program tells me that error :

Errors were encountered when loading the saved portfolio! A record of these errors can be found in the file "C:\Users\Nada\AppData\Local\Temp\hero_lab_load_iss ues.log". If you notice incorrect behaviors in your portfolio, please report it to the data file authors (you can contact them from the Help menu).

Portfolio created with different version of product. Compatability is unknown but attempting load anyways.
One or more required sources are not accessible for hero 'Erik'. Subsequent errors may be the result of this problem.

If you would be kind enough to enlight me on this matter please, I would find my new HL experience way more satisfying. I have tried to find posts and tutorials online, but nothing explicit on 4e was made, even on Lone Wolf website it is still very supperficial.

I see a character 'Eric', and by trying to load Sample-fighter, I get the same result that the character was created with a different version.

However, it continues to load, and then when I Save As, and close HL, then restart and load, it works fine.

Try that and see what happens.

I guess this really has absolutely nothing to do with the Authoring kit, so let's keep it to the 4e thread.

I have found my problem with the ddidownloader after reviewing a post somewhere.

If you run the ddidownloader on WIN7, you must run the application As Administrator, event though there is only one user and still you are the admin by default.

The data was not erased when doing option (d) since I wasn't in Administrator mode, and the data gathered did not seem to compile properly.

After exactly 14.5 hours of download, everything compiled perfectly and even the premade Portfolio now load up as normal.
