Hi Guys,

just thought I'd let you know about a great little feature I just found when updating my Realm.

I had built a Storyboard named Undermountain about a specific mission the group had to go down in Undermountain.

Then, I imported all my old game logs and put them into Event Objects of type Time period. This is while we wait for a better journalling system than is currently available.

Now, when I got to the game logs where the group went into Undermountain, all the links were created to point towards the story board.

I later realized that I did not want the link to point to the story board but to a location entry named Undermountain. Dang! Now I have have umteenth links pointing at the wrong thing!

Well, I went to the Storyboard and, in the Transition pane (?) on the right, all the places that link to the storyboard are there! Cool!

So I go one by one and update the links. On the first game log, I discover my second wow of the day: a feature called "Select Link Target for all instances..." which, you guessed it, lets you change the target for ALL links of that name in the current object open for editing.

So, not only did I have the means to FIND all the pointers that were wrong, but they also gave me a tool to fix them en masse for each object.

Cool!

That is cool!

Not only that, you have the option to rename the link or *all* the links of the same name! (right click on the target to bring up the menu.) :D

Yeah I found this feature much the same way, two similar named categories and when auto linking was doing its thing I never caught on everything went to the wrong category. I was rather annoyed at the amount of corection it was going to take, but after a few I noticed that feature, and BINGO!

I am sure that something like we faced must have come up in early testing.
