Wizard Leaving Empty Spell Slots

Narl

Member
I like for my wizard to leave a spell slot at each level empty so he can take 15 minutes to memorize a spell that might be needed later in the day. In HL, if I just leave the slot empty it gives me warnings, and doesn't note the empty slot on the character sheet at all.

Is there a better way to do this? Would using the editor to create a spell called "Empty Slot" at each level work? The I could "memorize" that and it would show up on the sheet. I'm open to any ideas on how best to manage this.

Go to the configure hero menu (ctrl-k), scroll down to the optional rules section, and check "don't require memorized spells"
