here is a screen shot of it actually working at level 5, but there doesnt seem to be a way to add it to the previous levels.

is there something Im missing?

even after selecting, by accident, at level 5 Im unable to reinput the bonus if I change it to +skill or +hp.

any help would be appreciated.
 
Ratfolk is defined in both Bestiary 3 and the ARG, but the favored class bonus is only from the ARG. For the current portfolio, do you have the bestiary 3 source on but the ARG source off?
 
no they are both on, and check this out.

If I open the file I saved with the accidental +5 to hex I can set it again. but if I change ANY stat. They all reset to +1 skill point, removing the bonus to hexes.

I can save and reopen 5 times to get the bonus to all 5 levels, but they will not stick.

Alright, I got it.

Upon opening the portfolio and going to the Configure Hero window it looks like the Advanced Race Guide source is turned off. Please enable that source, and you should be able to select the favored class bonus normally.
 
hrmm.. its saying I have to purchase that. But I own ever book that Id need to ratfolk. Why would I need to buy this additional book if I already have core + apgs + bestiary pack?

Because the option your looking for is from the ARG not the APG or Bestiary. So just like you can't add a feat from Ultimate Magic you can't add a ARG Favored Class Bonus with out the ARG.
 
well, actually I can. The application lets me set the +5 I just have to open and close it X times per level before I publish the character sheet.

I've purchased the package to resolve it permanently, but when sending to the iPad app I get errors about every rule book.
