Hello,
Is there a simple way to make a copy of the standard Oracle and just change the casting stat to wisdom?

The change is simple but when I just try to change it I get a "cannot copy" message. :(
 
Archetypes can change the casting stat of a class (the "Override Spell Attribute" option) - that's probably easier to accomplish than re-building a class.
 
Excellent! Its amazing how easy some things are when they seem daunting.

Secondary unrelated question, how do I create a magic item that grants skill in the item.

ie Full Plate, that grants the wearer the Heavy Armor feat?
