Windows 8 Compatibility?

Has Hero Lab been tested on Windows 8? Are there any issues with upgrading next month?

Also, I assume that supporting WinRT and the "design style formerly known as Metro" would require a pretty much complete rewrite. Any news on this? I assume the plan is to get the iPad app up and running first, and then go from there.
 
I've tested Hero Lab with the consumer previews and they work fine, so no known issues. Unless something unexpected happens, we'll be adding it to the list of "officially supported" OSs when it actually officially releases.

You're correct that supporting WinRT would involve a big rewrite. We're working on the iPad app first; once that's working, we'll have a lot of code we can re-use for porting to another platform like Android, WinRT, etc.
