Wildfire Spirit

I am trying to add the Wildfire Spirit from the Circle of Wildfire, and i cant get it to work, I tried copying the Mechanical Servant from the Artificer but that did not work, any help would be appreciated, I built the Spirit as a race and added it to the encounter builder, i Just cant figure out how to make it a companion. That gets it own sheet like a familiar of the Artificiers Servant

Just add the Spirit as a Hireling under Gear?

Otherwise, you might want to look at how Ranger pets work.
 
Thank you for your help, the Ranger was a good idea, the only issue i am having now is the HP the base HP is (equal to the wildfire spirit’s Constitution modifier + your Wisdom modifier + five times your Druid level) any ideas on the code for that or where to start would be great
